I can't believe it is almost April and June will be here before we know it! The pregnancy has gone by so fast but I'm beginning to think these lase few months will drag on while I am getting more uncomfrotable. I've always wanted to be a stay at home mom to my kids and I know I will have the opportunity to do that this year while we are in Duncan. But I have been thinking about it a lot and worrying some. I know we will have to make sacrifices and put our trust in God! We will be eating at home A LOT while in Duncan, we are thinking we won't have cable, we are not buying a bigger car and will not have any car payments, we won't have much entertainment in Duncan...so I hope and pray we will use our money wisely so that I can stay home. If anyone has any suggestions on saving money feel free to let me know what you do! Any advice would help. Have a good weekend and stay warm with this yucky weather.

Hey Jen; I'm a stay at home mommy, and I love being frugal! Have you heard of Dave Ramsey? If not, check my blog posts about him here: http://www.thetowells.com/?s=dave+ramsey . Another tip I would give is to start putting your paycheck in something like ING or a savings account where you won't be using it. Then, you'll know if y'all can live on only one salary. It can be done. Every Friday, I do a post on my blog called Frugal Friday, and I share other tips there.

At least you get paid through the summer, right?! We get netflix instead of cable. We go for the $8 package and can get as many movies as we can watch in a month and return. We go for lots of walks, play at the park, board games, and we love to eat at home. Making my own baby food saves money and I clip coupons and buy very carefully. We rarely buy new clothing for Micaiah. The children's orchard on Penn and Memorial is GREAT!
